Summer Course 2010
Truro: Monday 16th - Sunday 22nd August
The RSCM Millennium Youth Choir's Summer Course 2010 will be held in Truro from Monday 16th to Sunday 22nd August, singing services at Truro Cathedral and giving a concert at St Ives Parish Church.
The course will be directed by conductor David Ogden with vocal coach Hilary Llystyn Jones and organist Daniel Moult.
Accommodation will be in shared rooms at Truro High School for Girls on a half board basis.

Thursday 19th August
Coach to St Ives in the morning. Day spent in St Ives sightseeing / sunbathing etc. Afternoon rehearsal, concert in St Ives Parish Church at 7.30pm. Coach back to Truro.
Friday 20th August
Sing Evensong in Truro Cathedral at 5.30pm
Saturday 21st August
Free day
Sunday 22nd August
Sing Eucharist in Truro Cathedral at 10am
Sunday lunch
Sing Evensong in Truro Cathedral at 4pm
Course ends after Evensong so you will be free to leave by 5.30pm.
Course fee
The course fee is £340 and includes accommodation on a half board basis at Truro High School for Girls, tuition fees, music hire and coach transfer to and from St Ives.
To book your place, please return a booking form and pay a deposit of £50 by Monday 21st June. The balance of the course fee will be due by Friday 16th July.
If you need accommodation on Sunday 22nd August in order to travel home on Monday 23rd, this can be booked at a cost of £25. There is limited availability so please book early if you need it.

Getting to Truro
Truro is on the main line between Penzance and London Paddington, with direct connections to Plymouth, Edinburgh and the Midlands. The best fares are available 12 weeks before the date of return travel, so put a note in your diary to book them on 31st May.

National Express coaches also serve Truro, and to get there by car you travel down the M5 until you run out of motorway, then join the A30, then the A390.
