Millennium Youth Choir - Songs of Praise 50th anniversaryLondon: Sunday 25th September
This is a prestigious event and we are delighted that the MYC has been asked to take part, representing the long association the programme has had with the RSCM Millennium Youth Choir. We need to know asap whether you are able to take part in this. Please note that the recording will finish at 9.30pm in the evening so you need to make sure you can get home or stay over in London. We can give you suggestions for where to stay. Aled Jones will be the main host and will present the programme from the stage. He will be joined by Andrea Bocelli and Katherine Jenkins, plus other soloists to be confirmed.

The RSCM Millennium Youth Choir has been invited to be part of the Stage Choir for the 50th anniversary of Songs of Praise on Sunday 25th September.
Not only will Songs of Praise be marking the milestone of turning 50, the programme will also celebrate the present and future of inspirational singing. A youth choir of approximately 200-250 singers, specially brought together for the programme including the MYC will lead the hymns and support the solo artists from the stage as well as singing a piece together. This choir will feature members of some of the best youth choirs in the UK, including the RSCM Millennium Youth Choir, the School Choir of the Year, University Choirs and specialist young people's choirs.
