Directions to Trinity College

By car - from the M5

Exit 17 from the M5, proceed along the A4018 into Bristol. Follow this road for about 4 miles to a roundabout on the edge of Durdham Down (large green open space). Turn right into Parrys Lane then left into Saville Road. At the traffic lights, turn right into Stoke Hill. Trinity College is a few hundred yards down the hill on the right-hand side, along Bishop's Close. There is a sign on the corner of Bishops Close.

By car - from London and the East

Take the M4 followed by the M5 South, then follow the directions above.

By car - from Bristol city centre

From the city centre follow the directions for Clifton to St Augustine's Parade. Keep right and turn up College Green and Park St (past the Cathedral). At the top of Park St turn left and follow the one-way system around the Triangle and left to Queens Rd. Turn immediately right into Whiteladies Rd. Go up Whiteladies Rd and at the very top go straight ahead at the traffic lights to cross the Downs by the Water Tower (see map above). Go straight across at the next traffic lights at the end of the Downs. Bishop's Close and the college is the second right, a few hundred yards down the road.

By train

Bristol has two stations, Temple Meads and Parkway. We recommend catching a taxi from either station costing approx £12.

By coach

From the National Express Coach station a taxi costs approx £10.

From Bristol Airport

The simplest way to get to Trinity from Bristol Airport is by one of the airport taxis, which can be booked in advance online; the cost is about £24. There is also a bus, the Bristol International Flyer (number A2, cost 6 pounds single), which will take you to the central bus station. From there you can get a taxi to Trinity costing about 10 pounds.
